REPORTS TO: Director of Sales and Marketing
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: College, Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Must have a minimum of two years previous experience as a successful Revenue Manager
Understanding of the dynamics of marketplace activity and demand generators of area hotels
Must be capable of formulating, analyzing, and incorporating pricing and selling strategies into short-term and long-term strategic planning
Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Outlook. Strong Excel skills a must
Experience with multiple revenue management software and property management systems
Excellent organizational, oral and written communications skills. Must be able to educate and provide leadership to Steering Committee, Department Heads, Sales and Conference Planning Managers and Reservations. Team player with a passion for Revenue Management
Ability to multi-task and prioritize

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Able to sit for extended periods of time
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills Command of the English language, both written and verbal

1. Coordinate Group and Transient Sales to achieve maximum RevPAR through utilization of Revenue Optimization techniques.
2. Manage rooms' inventory through all distribution systems and resort partners, including Central Reservations, Internet, GDS, Wholesalers, and GCommerce.
3. Monitor marketplace activity, trends, and demand generators; Group pick-up, booking pace and turndowns, and recommend appropriate action to "RevMax Team."

4. Formulate hotel pricing and market mix strategy.
5. Analyze results to determine effectiveness of pricing and selling strategies; incorporate knowledge gained into short-term and long-term strategic planning.
6. Prepare and monitor 90-Day Rolling Forecast, by market segment.
7. Conduct weekly meetings for the "RevMax Team."
8. Assist DOSM in completing annual Rooms Revenue Budget, including day to day forecast, by market.
9. Assist DOSM in developing and writing annual Marketing Plan.
10. Formulate and write annual integrated Revenue Strategy.
11. Develop, in conjunction with Steering Committee, property-wide policies and procedures regarding revenue management.
12. Develop, maintain and provide historical statistical data, and related analysis, for decision-making purposes.
13. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports/revenue recaps.
14. Develop and implement, in conjunction with Steering Committee, revenue enhancement strategies for all revenue centers of the hotel.
15. Understand all system interfaces relating to Reservations and Front Desk operations and how they are related to each other.
16. Ensure overall data quality and rate integrity within all systems.
17. Exercises resort policies and procedures in accordance with the duties above.
18. Performs the duties of Manager on Duty (MOD) as assigned.
19. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director of Group Rooms and /or Director of Sales and Marketing.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos, ability to write simple correspondence, ability to effectively present one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other staff members of the organization and hospitality community.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions and percentages and ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished written, oral, or diagram form, ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations and ability to address customer personalities in various business situations.
